How it works

Frequently asked questions
How is the paver count calculated?
count = ⌈(L × W) ÷ paver area × (1 + waste ÷ 100)⌉. A 5 m × 4 m area (20 m²) with 200×100 mm pavers (0.02 m²) at 10% waste gives ⌈20 ÷ 0.02 × 1.10⌉ = 1100 pavers.
Why add a waste percentage?
Pavers are cut at edges, corners, and obstacles, and some break in handling. 10% suits simple square or running-bond patterns; use 15–20% for diagonal or herringbone layouts.
How many pavers fit in one square metre?
Divide 1 m² by the paver area: a 200×100 mm brick (0.02 m²) gives 50/m²; a 300×300 mm slab gives about 11.1; a 400×400 mm slab gives 6.25; a 600×600 mm slab gives about 2.8.
